About me:

I have a PhD in Psychology and trained internationally and within Australia and have over 12 years’ experience with children, adolescents, and adults. I have an interest in helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management to overcome challenges and build resilience. I also have excellent report writing skills. I have significant interest and experience working with clients from culturally and linguistic diverse backgrounds (CALD) experiencing family violence on temporary visas and with presentations, such as depression, stress, anxiety, and PTSD. I have worked in a variety of settings including the Family Violence Sector, as well as Universities, and the not for profit sector. I have a caring, supportive, and collaborative approach to ensure clients are comfortable, meet their goals, and sustain improvements after therapy has finished. I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Therapeutic Counselling. Besides, English I am also proficient in Hindi and Panjabi languages.
